Dexter Township, MichiganSpecial Election InformationThe last day to register to vote for the November 4th General Election is Monday, October 6th. The Clerk’s office will be open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on this day to register new voters. We anticipate that absent voter (AV) ballots will be mailed out beginning the first week of October to all eligible voters who have submitted a signed Absent Voter Ballot Application. To help ensure that all applications for AV ballots can be processed with sufficient time for the mailing and return of the ballots, please make your request as soon as possible. Links to General Election ballots for all Dexter Township precincts will be posted on this page as soon as the ballot proofs are approved by the County. The Clerk’s office is looking for election inspectors for the November general election. You must be a registered voter in Washtenaw County. The hours are long – polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM, the pay is small, but the satisfaction of taking an active role in the democratic process is priceless!
