The last day to register to vote for the August 5th primary election is Monday, July 7th. The Clerk’s office will be open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on this day. Absent voter (AV) ballots will be mailed out to all voters who have requested an AV ballot beginning Wednesday, July 2nd. To help ensure that all applications for AV ballots can be processed with sufficient time for the mailing and return of the ballots, please make your request as soon as possible. The Clerk’s office is looking for election inspectors for the November general election. You must be a registered voter in Washtenaw County. The hours are long – polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM, the pay is small, but the satisfaction of taking an active role in the democratic process is priceless!
