Property owners should receive their 2009 winter tax bills the week of December 1st. Tax bills are sent to the address of record as of November 10th. If you do not receive your tax bill, please contact the township office at (734) 426-3767 to confirm that your correct mailing address is on file. Winter taxes are due per Michigan Statute 211.44 by February 14th. The last day taxes are due and payable before they are returned as delinquent is February 28th; if the 28th is on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the last day is on the next business day. The Dexter Township treasurer’s office will be open on Monday, March 1, 2010 until 5:00 PM to accept 2009 tax payments.
