Property owners should receive their 2009 summer tax bills this week. Tax bills are sent to the address of record as of June 10th. If you do not receive your tax bill, please contact the township office to confirm that your correct mailing address is on file. Please verify that your tax bill reflects the correct PRE percentage for 2009. To qualify for 2009 you must have owned and occupied your home by May 1, 2009. PRE corrections can be addressed at the July Board of Review. Per Michigan Statute, summer taxes are due on or before Monday, September 14, 2009; postmarks are not accepted. After September 14th, a one percent per month interest fee will be added to all unpaid taxes unless a deferment has been granted. Please contact the township office with any questions.
