Dexter Township, Michigan

Petition forms are available from the Clerk’s office during regular business hours for anyone wishing to run for the Dexter Township Board of Trustees – Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and four Trustee positions. Partisan petitions must have at least three (3) valid signatures but not more than ten (10) valid signatures of township residents who are currently registered to vote. Partisan nominating petitions must be returned to the Clerk’s office no later that 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. For anyone wishing to run without a political party affiliation, a qualifying petition must be returned to the Clerk’s office no later the 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2008.
